PUPPY OWNERS: ROBERTO AND ANDREA  "COOKIE'S PARENTS"

We had been searching for a reputable dobermann breeder for about four months before we came upon Apolda Dobermans.  All the previous breeders I had interactions with were either pretentious and didn't want to sell to a home where the dog wouldn't be "shown," wanted us to enter into a "contract," or they were lazy with their breeding (for example, bred "albino" dobermans).  What was most important to us was having a healthy dog with a good temperament  -as we intended on having children in the future.  When we spoke to Willy, he was adament about preserving the breed and temperament was a top priority to him.

We decided on a red doberman female, whom we named Cookie.  When we first met Cookie, we were able to meet her mother as well.  It was then we discovered how immaculate the kennel conditions were.  You would never know there were half a dozen dogs on the property if it wasn't for the playful barking.  Honestly, I've been to homes with one dog that smelled more like dog than this kennel.

Additionally, Willy was a man of his word.  No matter what questions we had, he was always able and willing to answer.  When we took her home and she had her ears clipped, he would call once or twice a week to check on her progress, and when the tape came loose, he was always willing to retape them no matter the time of day.

Apolda Dobermans loves the doberman breed, and is more than willing to help the new owner learn and grow as well.  If anyone ever asks about our Cookie (which they do often), I am more than eager to tell them what a wonderful experience and capable breeder Apolda Dobermans is.

We know that in the future, our next doberman will be an Apolda Doberman as well.
